Geneva 2012 : Ecological Transportation featured at the Green Pavilion

 
 3 years ago, the Geneva International Motor Show was the car show the first international instrument to a section devoted specifically to the topic of alternative transportation and environmental propulsion technologies and renewable fuel sources: The Green Pavilion. From the start, visitors can find well-qualified small businesses and startups that have been presenting their innovative visions for the future of personal transportation. And now, the major automakers are also to take this opportunity to present their latest concepts in this area. The Green Pavilion can be found in the park Sarasin, just opposite the main entrance to Palexpo in Geneva International Motor Show which runs from 8-18 March 2012.
 

In 2009, long before the global economic crisis, the International Motor Show of Geneva created the Green Pavilion and has thus become THE international exhibition for auto focusing on the development of transportation technologies of the future.

For its first edition, the Green Pavilion featured companies only highly qualified and specialized institutes, and start groups that might take this opportunity to present the latest results of their research to the public as part of an overall exposure . They could also develop relationships with car manufacturers exhibiting at the Motor Show. Meanwhile, the manufacturers recognize this opportunity to introduce to the public their latest prototypes are ready for mass production. The test discs available at the neighboring Green Tests contributed greatly to the success of the concept of the Pavilion.

For the 82nd edition of the Geneva Motor Show International Fair Green Pavilion and green trials moves to the Parc Sarasin, whose entrance is directly opposite the main entrance to Palexpo. Access to the Green Pavilion is included in the primary ticket for the Motor Show, and it will open one hour before the opening of the rest of the show at 9:00 on weekdays and 8:00 on weekends.
